Feeling a Bit Down, Don't Know What's Wrong With Me...

Lots of people I've been speaking to recently have been feeling a bit lacklustre... tired... lacking in energy and enthusiasm... Maybe it's the short days, dark mornings, the fact it's snuggle season but still sinisterly warm for mid November so big coats, knitwear and hot chocolate feel conflicting... I hear this from clients/friends/people... 𝘉𝘦𝘦𝘯 𝘢 𝘣𝘪𝘵 𝘥𝘰𝘸𝘯, 𝘥𝘰𝘯’𝘵 𝘬𝘯𝘰𝘸 𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵’𝘴 𝘸𝘳𝘰𝘯𝘨 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘮𝘦... Nothings wrong with you hun, you’re a human being with human feelings. You don’t have to be on your period to be sad. Nothing has to have 'happened'. You don't need a reason to feel anything. Not that recent times haven't been tough for people. The world feels in disarray right now. Let's not forget the pandemic isn't over, we're clearing up but mess is still being created. The climate is fucked and Boris can't even wear a mask when he's sitting next to Sir David Attenborough... I digress... Sometimes people are sad. That’s fine. We’re not designed to be happy all the time. Look at the wheel of emotion...

Scientists have defined 27 clear, different emotions. It's been purported we are capable of feeling 34000 different feelings... And you think there’s something wrong with you because you’re feeling something other than 𝘧𝘪𝘯𝘦 𝘩𝘶𝘯 ? You’re fine, hun. Speaking of the emotion wheel, it's something we cover in Nouri, my 12 week well-being programme that helps you find food freedom and brings you back to you. We are into the last month of our current course and the next intake is January. (Not as far away as you think). The feedback we've been getting has been awesome and really made me proud: "Learning more about nutrition for me is always a winner! I have tried so many "diets" and so I am having to unlearn something that has been instilled in me over the years." "I love it! it's the first time ever that I've really thought about my own self care." "As soon as I started Nouri something clicked for me and I am feeling a real sense of achievement from even the smallest of steps and one positive habit has led to another, which is making me feel highly motivated." You can join the waiting list and sign up at www.nouri.live or reply to this email if you would like to have a chat or ask any questions about it. If you struggle with dieting, body image or creating habits that stick - it's for you.
